Leader Dogs

The numbers are in - 277 Leader dogs and their blind masters graduated this past year from Leader Dog school. We are now 12,000 + graduates.

As we continue to graduate people, we continue to incur expenses to operate this program. Be an 'early bird' and make your contribution now. If your club is unable make make its entire contribution, perhaps it can make a partial payment now and the rest later. Don't forget to note "Annual Donation" on your check.

Here's an opportunity, not only to identify your club with Leader Dogs, but to enhance its standing in the community. Ask your local businesses if they would be willing to permit you to place a Leader Dog decal on their entrance doors. Make sure they know we have ten active Leader Dogs working in the District, any one of which, could pay a visit to their establishment.

There were six District Leader dog programs conducted between August and October of this year

Plans are underway to expand the program for next year.
